Mardi Himal trekking is a tropical and fascinating trekking route in the western Annapurna region of Nepal and is located east of Modi Khola across the valley from Hiunchuli. The trip covers some of the breathtaking glacial valleys and the masked Landscape of the Annapurna region. The trek is also commonly known as an Eco Tourism trial that crosses through dense Rhododendron forests and varieties of Vegetation. The picturesque adventure to Mardi Himal will also be completely soaked with the views of snowcapped peaks. The trial was first discovered in 1961 through a route via the east flank and was officially opened in 2012 for trekking. Mardi Himal trek leads you off 'the beaten path' away from the busy and crowded trials of the Annapurna region. The trek offers glorious views of the world’s famous and giant mountains including Annapurna I (8,091m), Dhaulagiri (8,167m), Hiunchuli (6,441m), Annapurna II (7,937m), Annapurna III (7,555m), Annapurna South (7,219m), Machhapuchre Fishtail (6,993m). Mardi Himal trek is a unique experience for trekkers with the warm welcome and activities of the local folks who live by the trails as trekkers hike into the thick forests.
Mardi Himal trek starts after your arrival at the Tribhuvan International Airport in Kathmandu from where we take a scenic drive or a mountain flight to the beautiful city, Pokhara. The trekking trial begins from Hyangja, 30 min drive from Pokhara. The walk begins from Hyangja and reaches Dhampus through Astham and Hyengjakot. Further we head towards the Mardi Himal base camp crossing Forest Camp, Low Camp and High Camp. From High camp after exploring the Mardi Himal Base Camp we make a relaxed descent to Siding village and trek towards Luwang Village. The trial reaches to Hyangja from Luwang Village and we drive to pokhara.

Day 1
Drive from Kathmandu to Pokhara (8,50m) to Kande (1770m.)
Drive Duration: 10 hours.
Distance: 227 KM
Our Trekking Tour to Mardi Himal begins with Tourist Bus hour drive to Pokhara City by Tourist Bus at 7 AM from Kathmandu City. About 8 Hours Bus drive will take us to Pokhara city, then private Car will take us to Kande (Trek starto Point) , overnight stay at Hotel in Kande
Day 2
Kande to Pritam Deurali (2,100 meters) to Forest Camp (2,600m.)
Walking Duration: 8 hours.
Start your day with a scenic Walk to Deurali , followed by 5 hour trek to Pritam Deurali at 2,100 meters then to Forest Camp. Enjoy lush forests, charming villages, and stunning mountain views along the way. Arrive at Pritam Deurali for breathtaking panoramas and a peaceful evening amidst nature. The journey takes you through lush, dense forests and offers panoramic views of the surrounding peaks. Experience the tranquility of the wilderness as you traverse well-trodden trails, eventually arriving at the serene Forest Camp. Day 3
Forest Camp to Mardi Himal Low Camp (3150m) to High Camp (3,580m)
Walking Duration: 8 hours.
Today there is a noticeable change in vegetation with more cloud and moisture causing the trees to be covered in moss and lichen, with orchids clinging to the trees. It is much cooler and has a more jungle-feel. On occasions you can glance through the trees to the snow-capped mountains of Mt. Machapuchare, Mardi Himal, and the Annapurna Ranges..
An early start takes us to the highest point on this trek which will help you get accustomed to the higher altitude. The majestic peaks look close enough to reach out and touch. The enormous face of the mountain highlights the sheer size of Mardi Himal (5587m). We will trek higher during the day to get a better appreciation of these massive peaks before heading back to High Camp in the evening. Overnight stay at Hotel at High Camp
Day 4
Mardi Himal base Camp (4,500m) to Mardi Himal View Point (4,200m.) the back to Low Camp (3,150m)
Walking Duration: 12 hours.
We will leave Hotel early morning at 4 am for Mardi Himal View Point to see sunrise and to see Himalayas. From Mardi Himal View Point : Annapurna I (8091m), II (7937m), III (7855m), IV (7525m), Annapurna south(7,819 m), Himchuli(6,441 m), Dhaulagiri I, II (8,163m/7751m), Machhapuchhare(6,991m), Mardi Himal(5,588 m), Nilgiri(6,940 m), Varaha Shikhar(7,847 m), Thapa Peak(6,015 m), Tukuche Peak(6,920 m), Singu Chuli(6,500m), Tharpu Chuli(5,663 m), Gangapurna(7,483 m) and Lamjung Himal(6,931m.) can be seen. After having sunrise view over Himalayan peaks, we will back to hotel at High Camp and will have food then will trek down to Low Camp. Overnight stay at Hotel in Low Camp.
Day 5
Low Camp to Siding Village (1,280m) & drive to Pokhara (8,50m) Walking Distance: 5 Hours
Driving Duration: 4 Hours
Our trail today is again downhill and not as difficult as we descend to Siding Village. Siding Village is also known for its honey-catchers who hang off ropes on cliff faces to extract honey from wild bee hives. We follow the trail through the forest to Siding. We will have lunch here and then will take Shared Jeep ride to Pokhara, overnight stay at Hotel in Pokhara.
Day 6
Driving Hours: 8 Hours
At 8 am, tourist bus will leave for Kathandu and 8 hours drive will bring us back to Kathandu. The Trip is completed.
