Upper Mustang Permit
The Upper Mustang region is classified as a restricted area, and much of the region, including its trekking trails, also lies within the Annapurna Conservation Area. Foreigners are required to obtain a Restricted Area Permit in addition to an Annapurna Conservation  entry permit to trek in Upper Mustang. 

 

 
MUSTANG DISTRICT  
Areas of Upper Mustang For the first 10 days US$ 500 per person and after 10 days US$ 50 per day per person, or equivalent convertible foreign currency

 

 
Annapurna Conseervaitonn Area Permit Fee: 

For Nepali Nationals: Nepali Rupees 100 

For SAARC Nationals: Nepali Rupees 1,000.

For other Nationals (other than SAARC countries): Nepali Rupees 3,000.

Note:

  • Entrance fee not required for children under 10 years of age.
  • Trekkers are required to obtain individual Entry Permits for visiting Annapuran Conservation Area.
  • Two passport size photographs are required while applying for each Entry Permit.
