October 16, 2022: The Nepal government has stopped paragliding flights across the country for some time. Nepal Civil Aviation Authority has decided to stop all types of paragliding flights throughout the country until further arrangements are made, said Jagannath Niraula, the spokesperson of the authority.

It has been decided to stop all types of recreational, commercial, and sports paragliding flights across the country until further notice. He said, “Now we are doing a detailed study on flight safety.”
