The road climbs high over ridges as it leaves the Kathmandu Valley, and provides impressive views of the Annapurna Himalayas in the west, to Manaslu, Ganesh Himal and the peaks of the Langtang region ahead. We drive through the bustling town of Trisuli before climbing towards Dunche and the Langtang National Park. After the town of Dunche it is another hour downhill to Syabru Besi and your lodge for the night.

Today’s trail crosses the Bhote Kosi meaning ‘Tibet River’ which flows from nearby Tibet. It then gradually climbs through sub-tropical forests to join the trail from Syabru Besi, then climbing through uninhabited oak and rhododendron forests. Look out for langur monkeys in the trees. The trail through the forest up to Lama Hotel becomes steep, but the reward is a comfortable bed in a cozy lodge in the small settlement.
Day 03: Lama Hotel to Langtang Village (3430m) 7 hours walking on foot -15 KM. distance
The trail continues to follow the Langtang khola, uphill steeply through a forest of hemlocks, maples and Rhododendron, past isolated lodges at Gumanchok (riverside) and ghunama to the famous lunch time spot of Ghoratabela (2970m). There are great views of langtang lirung from here, which you can admire as the army checks post, where you need to register your langtang trek permit. From Ghoratabela the trail uphill more gradually through U-shaped glacier valley to the villages of thangshyap, Gompa and finally langtang (3430m). The national park headquarter is here, along with a cooperative bakery, a dozen lodges and so many yaks and overnight here.
Day 04: Langtang Village to Kyangjin Gompa (3860m)-12KM. 5 Hours walking
the trail climbs gradually through yak pastures as the valley opens out further and the views become more extensive. After crossing several small streams and moraines, the trail reaches the settlement at Kyangjin. Here there is a small monastery and a government-operated cheese factory, which is a good place to stock up for lunch and afternoon snacks. As you will arrive by lunchtime there is time to take it easy in the afternoon or explore the area. If you are feeling energetic, head up the Valley towards Langshisha Kharka to see some of the amazing views.
Day 05:Rest day
Today is rest day, during day, we will make a day hiking to Tsergo Ri (4,985m.)
Tserko/Tsergo (5033 m/16,500 ft) Ri is another best view point but less popular and more difficult than the Kyanjin Ri. The Tserko Ri is named by the Tserko Peak 5700 Meters. The Tserko Ri hike is more time consuming and more difficult than the Kyanjin Ri Hike. If you want to hike to it then you should be quite good at walking plus there are also chances of the Getting AMS While hiking to Tserko Ri. The Tserko Ri Hikes offer a more clear view of the Yala Peak sides mountains. The Tserko Ri hikes can be very tough if there is Snow on the Top of the Tsergo ri. Most of the time there is snow on the top.
Day 06:Kyangin Gumba to Lama Hotel (2470) 18 Km distance: 8 hours walking
From Kyangjin retrace the route you followed up the valley, following the Langtang Khola to Mundu village and on to Ghora Tabela. The descent will certainly be faster than the ascent. After lunch, continue the steep descent to Lama Hotel.
Day 07:Lama Hotel to Syabrubesi (1460m.) 16 Km Distance: 7 hours walking on foot
