According to recent data released by the Nepal Tourism Board, the month of June in year 2024, Nepal welcomed a total of 76,736 international tourists in Nepal.

The surge in tourist arrivals underscores Nepal's enduring appeal as a premier destination among travelers worldwide, highlighting the country's diverse cultural heritage, natural beauty, and adventure opportunities.

The majority of these tourists hail from India, with United States of America and China following closely behind, as reported by the Nepal Tourism Board.

In specific numbers, the count of Indian tourists visiting Nepal in this month stands at 37,835, while 8,281 visitors come from United States of America and 7,494 tourists have arrived from China. 

Additionally, the Nepal Tourism Board notes that 3,857 tourists entered Nepal from Bangladesh and 1,969 people visited Nepal from United Kingdom of Britain & Northern Ireland (UK). From Australia 1,589 tourists have come to Nepal , with 1,066  tourists arriving from Bhutan.

Similarly, the statistics indicate that 1,014 visitors are from Malaysia, 953 from Japan  and 875 from South Korea have also made their way to Nepal, according to the board's data.

In the first 6 months of  year 2024, Nepal has welcomed over 5,83,000 Tourists, as reported by the Nepal Tourism Board, with a total of 5,83,016  International  tourists arriving between January and june  Month of this year 2024.
